About Aragon, Santillan & Associates
Aragon, Santillan & Associates is a family business founded by Ophelia Aragon 25 years ago. Her son, Fabian Santillan, joined the firm part-time over 17 years ago, and this year it will be 10 years that Fabian has worked full time with Aragon, Santillan & Associates.
After attending USC and Cal State Long Beach, Ophelia entered the world of tax and accounting. Ophelia retired from LAUSD in December, after almost 42 years of service. She spent most of that time as a Senior Auditor and Financial Manager. She has been in the tax preparation business for over 32 years. Her business started by preparing the tax returns of her close friends and family, and has since grown to several hundred tax clients.
Ophelia and Fabian are both licensed tax practitioners. Ophelia is licensed through the Federal Government as an IRS Enrolled Agent. Fabian is licensed in the State of California with the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). Fabian has over 20 years in the accounting and business management field. Before becoming partners with Ophelia full time, Fabian was the Legal Administrator for a large law firm in Los Angeles.

Our goal is to deliver timely, professional services, in a relaxed atmosphere. We keep abreast of developments by closely monitoring changes in the tax laws and regulations. We provide professional income tax service at a very competetive price. We go well beyond the minimum amount of continuing education hours every year so that we stay updated on all of the changes throughout the year for our clients.
